Next.js Conf is an annual event dedicated to all things Vercel + Next.js. In 2022, the event included a keynote, customer stories, a fireside chat with Kelsey Hightower, and 25+ community videos.
As the Production Manager for the keynote, I scouted & booked locations + crew, managed crew and talent, developed production schedules, oversaw production processes, edited content, and ran the YouTube live stream.
lessons learned: big led screens have weird dimensions. explaining complex engineering products coherently is an art. caffeine is a helluva drug.
